FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICE

 The periodic inspection of fire extinguishers is required by law to be carried out annually and is divided into 3 different tasks depending on the year of manufacture of the container.

The year of manufacture is embossed on the container.

The tasks are as follows:

 Maintenance - It is carried out annually, checking all parts of the fire extinguisher and the quality of the extinguishing material without replacing it.

Refilling - It is carried out after using the fire extinguisher or preventively every 5 years by replacing the old extinguishing material and doing all the actions included in the maintenance (except for CO2 fire extinguishers which are refilled every 10 years)

Hydrostatic test & refilling - It takes place on the 10th year and includes the strength test of the tank and the renewal of its charge. It is carried out only by certified re-inspection centers responsible for this control.
